Liberty Mutual’s direct sales call center, known as the Direct Response Center (DRC), is an engine of new business growth for the organization. As the DRC grows in importance, so does its need for insightful analytics and strategic partnership from us, the DRC Analytics team.

The DRC Analytics team must develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges Liberty Mutual faces in the hyper-competitive personal insurance direct sales industry. The team is responsible for producing analytics that support the organization’s growth goals and providing strategic direction and partnership to senior leadership. We optimize our current operations as well as envision what our organization might look like years from now.

The DRC Analytics team is now seeking a Senior Analyst/Consultant to join the team at this exciting time. As a member of the DRC Analytics team, you will be leveraging complex analytics to answer some of our most challenging questions. This individual will be responsible for generating ideas to improve our business, designing measurement plans, and then monitoring results and making recommendations. This is a highly visible role with frequent communication and coordination with senior management across multiple departments including our front-line sales management team. We are seeking an individual who is deeply analytical, highly collaborative, and a very strong communicator.

Responsibilities:

  • Queries data to conduct ad hoc analyses
  • Conducts highly complex analyses with minimal supervision
  • Coordinates with multiple departments to drive forward strategic initiatives for the DRC
  • Successfully manages stakeholders on cross-functional projects
  • Presents findings and recommendations to key stakeholders including senior management
  • Acts as a coach and mentor to less experienced analysts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical and consultative role
  • Strong collaboration & communication skills
  • Strong technical skills in SAS, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle ambiguous analytical problems and craft structured outcomes and consistent frameworks
  • Ability to communicate analytical and strategic concepts in easy to understand terms
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without compromising accuracy and quality
  • Ability to independently move projects forward with minimal supervision
