Do you have a passion for leading team members? Our Premium Audit Field supervisor will supervise our field audit team to ensure timely Premium Audits.
ABOUT YOUR JOB
- Supervise field audit staff within your region – including training and development.
- Assist Regional Manager in training new hires as well as in-service training of field staff.
- Build and maintain working relationships with all branch managers serviced by your team.
- Supervise all internal audit processing activities.
- Conduct service audits and final audits on the larger and more complex accounts.
- Resolve large and complex audit disputes.
- Correspond with Insureds/Agents/Company personnel.
- Provide technical assistance to reviewers, underwriters and agents.
- Monitor field audit team inventory for timeliness and quality.
- Clarify voluntary and physical audits by contacting insureds as needed.
- Communicate with NCCI / WCIRB regarding classification and technical issues.
- Assist Field Audit Services Management and SIU in prosecution of Premium Fraud.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least three to five years of experience working in Premium Audit. Must have management and good communication skills APA, CIPA and CPCU desirable, but not required. Must have good working knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Insurance. Must be aware of and understand a variety of payroll and accounting systems, and the differences in Workers’ Compensation jurisdictions. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical journals, financial reports or legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups. Ability to calculate and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
