Job Details

SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS

  1. File reviews & adjuster guidance
  2. Adjuster audits (per CorVel best practices)
  3. Attendance in file review meetings (quarterly, excess, and stewardship meetings)
  4. Daily monitoring and progression of specific claims processes
  5. Daily monitoring and progression of reserves and payment exceeding adjuster authority levels
  6. Corporate & branch reporting
  7. Adjuster education/coaching: Assist adjusters with keeping up-to-date with case law and regulatory changes. Ensure they are educated on the various defenses available to them.
  8. Consistency and professionalism: Promote a polished, professional, timely, concise and consistent and work product is delivered to our customers. This includes, but is not limited to daily voice and email message, reports, letters, claim notes, etc.
  9. Licensing, appointing, and CEUs: Monitoring of staff compliance, coordinating CEUs, State appointment filings, etc.
  10. Additional duties as required.

Depending on position/area, may be required to perform the following:

  1. May be required to travel overnight and attend meetings.
  2. May perform daily, weekly, monthly reviews of various reports, invoices, logs and expenses.
  3. May be responsible for limited marketing and sales activities.

REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims required.

3+ years Supervisory experience preferred. Florida Workers' Compensation or All-Lines Adjusters license required, and Georgia workers' compensation claims experience is a bonus. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service skills and organizational skills are essential. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite with such programs as Word and Excel. Ability to set priorities and work independently is essential.
