Liberty Mutual's Global Retail Markets Product Management team is looking for an Accident and Health (A & H) Product Manager to drive the overall A & H strategy and product organization in the US! This is a highly visible role that will influence and partner with key Global Retail Market stakeholders in driving the success of this “startup” team. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Personal Lines and A&H Product, you will lead a team of 4-5 managers in the GRM Product organization.

In this role, you would:

• Have primary accountability for the overall growth and profitability for the Accident & Health suite of products, including Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Special Risk and Pet, including driving strategy and resourcing of the operation
• Direct ownership of the A&H Product teams, including product development, pricing, underwriting, compliance, and delivery
• Be responsible for working across the GRM organization, including, but not limited to distribution, IT, claims, and marketing to align resources needed to grow the A&H organization, including continued expansion of existing products and the launch of new products.
• Develop a business plan & line expertise for A&H that aligns with SBU goals and objectives.
• Working with key stakeholders, lead and own the strategic vision of the A&H operation.
• Own the development of products, services, pricing, guidelines and programs for all A&H products

This role might be for you if you have:

• The desire and passion to build, launch, and scale a new operation
• The background in underwriting, pricing, and product to build and scale new products in market
• The ability to bring all of the resources of a Fortune 100 global insurer to properly resource the A&H business to drive significant growth
• Advanced knowledge of Accident and Health insurance, product development, marketing, distribution, pricing, innovation, operations, and technology.
• Ability to collaborate with other senior managers to create business strategies that enable delivery of business unit results.
• Ability to drive a strategy, structure, and culture in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Other capabilities and attributes required include: management/leadership, adaptability, initiative, self-awareness and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge, skills and other capabilities normally acquired through a bachelor`s degree or equivalent and 10+ years of related experience. Master`s degree preferred.
