The AVP, Applications Development is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, controlling, and setting strategies for Application portfolio and related support services.The AVP acts as the primary point of contact to functional area senior management in all matters concerning current systems, current support capacity and future technology resources.

Responsible for Business Unit Application Development & Maintenance:

  • Lead application development teams for SaaS based cloud applications which involved technologies like Salesforce, Mulesoft, Oracle, Informatica.
  • Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner.
  • Set direction for and assign responsibilities to technical and non-technical individuals on projects or cross-functional team. Proactively partner with technical advisors and consultants during execution of plan.
  • Oversee code development in the Salesforce and related platforms.
  • Implement Agile DevOps scale up-create teams with all skills and expertise to deliver continuous integration and automation.
  • Align with execution in international across all BUs and Business Functions to ensure business capabilities can be delivered in relevant markets.
  • Lead front end solution engagement with Sales Teams and Client Prospects
  • Support and enforce the use of standards, procedures, best practices and methodologies.
  • Ensure IT is adequately resourced in support of the business priorities (negotiate augmented or incremental resource needs with appropriate stakeholders).
  • Steer delivery teams to meet service commitments for on-time, on-budget and meeting or exceeding business expectations.
  • Remains abreast of developments in the cloud application development field.
  • Monitor customer service level standards and ensures that customer needs are being met.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of technology experience including 7+ year’s leadership experience in leading technical teams and managing resources.
  • Must have experience with cloud-based solutions. Experience with at least some of the following in a team leadership capacity is necessary: SalesForce.com, Oracle Big Machines, Informatica, Mulesoft.
  • Experience working with the business users, understand their needs and translate those needs to the final project deliverables.
  • 7+ years’ experience in some of the areas:
    • Cloud Application Management (Azure / AWS)
    • Salesforce
    • Custom Development (Java/J2EE, .Net)
    • Application Architecture
    • Business Analysis
  • 7+ years of experience monitoring staff performance results and addressing problem behaviors to achieve improvement
  • 7+ years of experience multi-tasking and juggling multiple projects and customers’ demands simultaneously
  • Able to travel as needed, potentially up to 20%
