Job Summary
The Director, Enterprise Organizational Effectiveness (EOE) consults and applies EOE solutions in the areas of Talent Management, Learning and Development, and Leadership that support Travelers' people and culture strategies and goals. Works independently to provide enterprise organizational effective solutions to enhance the organization, team and individual effectiveness. This position is responsible for independently managing key initiatives and projects.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Facilitates leadership & professional development workshops within the EOE curriculum. Designs, develops, and delivers a variety of customized solutions. Strengthens team effectiveness through the development and facilitation of solutions. Manages EOE initiatives. Coaches employees and leaders on 360 and other assessments. Provides expertise in using new, effective adult learning methods. Supports Travelers' Diversity & Inclusion strategy; May include individual coaching, and the design, development and/or delivery of aligned diversity and inclusion solutions. Leads moderately complex efforts to ensure Travelers has the capabilities and culture needed for success. Develops appropriate measures to ensure solutions are effective and aligned with business strategy. Manages assigned solutions, providing ongoing oversight of the solution's effectiveness and efficacy. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in leadership development/learning and development and/or organizational development.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred. 8+ years' experience designing and delivering leadership and organizational development strategies for large, complex organizations preferred. Strong understanding of leadership development theories and practices and successful experience in translating theory into highly practical tools and programs. Demonstrates and engages the following Human Resource competencies: Credible Activist: skilled at creating sustainable business outcomes as they link people and business dimensions with energy, insight, sensitivity, and impact. Business Ally: knowledgeable in the social context or setting in which the business makes money, and the proposition of various business function. Operation Executor: credible in the operational aspects of managing people and organization including policies, administrative needs technology, shared services or outsourcing. Talent Management/Organization: Designer partners to ensure the enterprises means of talent management and organizational capabilities are aligned with strategy, integrated with each other, and working effectively and efficiently. Culture and Change Steward: help make culture happen by facilitating, partnering and coaching on how actions reflect and drive culture, weave cultural standards into practice and processes and make culture real to employees. Strategy Architect: partners in the establishment of strategy to deliver a vision. Turns strategy into practices that culminate in organizational capabilities.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies

Demonstrated ability to measure and evaluate effectiveness of development programs. Ability to lead a project team and work effectively across several businesses. Excellent consultative, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Comprehensive property casualty insurance knowledge and experience preferred. Experience evaluating and managing vendors.
