The Partner & Raters team, part of the Global Retail Market (GRM) organization is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join its comparative rater team. This role directly supports the GRM US strategic objective of being #1 in the independent agent channel, and you will act as a thought leader in this space, helping your squad deliver innovative test engineering solutions with a focus on continuing to drive test automation, the automatic execution of functional test suites and sharing best practices across the broader portfolio. The solutions you and your squad deliver are key to our success in the comparative rater space and put a premium on performance and complex business rules execution.

The Senior Test Automation Engineer shows a passion for Quality Assurance Automation who will analyze and design new or modified Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and standards. You will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered application software. You will also be responsible for consulting with business and IT management and staff throughout the project life cycle to assist and support the design, development and implementation of effective systems.


Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and execution in the creation of automated test environments, tests plans and test scripts.
Build modern testing frameworks/models and act as a strong advocate for test coverage, quality engineering practices (TDD), and automation.
Experiment with and operationalize innovative trends in test automation.
Prepare and conduct acceptance testing of new or modified applications/systems.
Modify automated testing systems or procedural or standard changes.
Work with stakeholders and team to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology.

Qualifications:


Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least four years experience
Experience with automated testing and modeling tools, and a broad knowledge of business modeling, process engineering, and test case generation techniques required. Current stack includes Postman/Newman, Selenium, and Jenkins for execution, among others
Experience with front-end automation testing with tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Mocha etc. preferred.
Requires excellent analytical ability, consultative and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with business and IT management and staff.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of development concepts and industry trends/direction for cloud technologies and CI/CD concepts, specifically how to implement testing automation within CI/CD pipelines.
