Job Summary
Assist in ensuring all supplier due diligence and ongoing monitoring tools have been completed timely and appropriately. Ensures supplier management processes for assigned divisions are up to date and on track, completed as committed. This role does not manage others.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the enterprise supplier management team with analyzing assigned divisional supplier management best practices and process implementation. Assist in evaluating due diligence processes and ongoing monitoring to propose mitigation plans to reduce supplier risks. Assist in the creation and management of communications across the division regarding the Supplier Management program. Assist in the development and dissemination of consistent standardized materials utilized across the enterprise. Assist with collaboration across divisions to ensure combined usage and alignment. Assist in the establishment of continuous improvement methodology for Supplier management framework and supplier management process across the division. Assist in the implementation of enterprise tools to analyze and report supplier and program information. Response to quality assurance and audit review both by enterprise supplier management, Corporate audit, and division audit. Assist in evaluating overall supplier program governance to ensure proper oversight and understanding of enterprise supplier risk and dependencies. Foster a partnering culture with members of the enterprise and Travelers supply chain. Participate in the Enterprise Supplier Management Steering Committee Meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of supplier/risk management or related experience required. Ability to successfully operate in a team and in a fast-paced environment required. Requires a demonstrated record of initiative, problem solving and change management.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's' degree required or equivalent work experience. Strong communication skills, strong computer literacy, and ability to analyze and resolve issues. Some knowledge of business law, contract and various financial issues is helpful.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
Intermediate proficiency in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
