Job Description
The primary objective of the Field Sales Associate (FSA) position is to learn about company sales and customer service practices and demonstrate the application and mastery of sales, recruiting and leadership concepts that will lead the incumbent to a Field Sales Leader (FSL) position as deemed appropriate. As an FSL, youll use your strategic thinking and planning experience to help agents across your region build a better business and bottom line. Key Responsibilities
In order to prepare you to be successful as an Field Sales Leader, you will spend approximately 6-15 months as a Field Sales Associate, depending on your past experience. During this time, your training will focus on Licensing, Development, Recruiting, In-Agency Experience and Market Prep.
Licensing and Development
Acquire the licensing and skills required to transition to a front-line sales leadership position
Recruiting
Develop the ability to present the Allstate agency opportunity and appoint new agency owners
In-Agency Experience
Learn and demonstrate sales success in both Property & Casualty and Financial Services products
Market Prep
Assist new and existing agencies in creating consistent, repeatable and profitable processes to run their business
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years sales and/or sales management experience recommended
- Property & Casualty and Financial Services product knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of the insurance industry including competitors and trends preferred
- Business consulting and sales skills, knowledge and experience
- Ability to effectively collaborate and influence through virtual interactions
- 4-year college degree preferred
- FINRA SIE and Series 6, 26, and 63, as appropriate for the state (ability to obtain)
- P&C, Life and Health Licenses, as appropriate for the state (ability to obtain)
- Industry certifications preferred
- Overnight travel may be required
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
