Senior Underwriter- Excess Casualty; Dallas, TX

An established national insurance carrier is seeking a Senior Underwriter to take point on retention, and profitable underwriting for their existing national territory. The person will be working with existing customers maintaining relationships and ensuring quality underwriting. Qualified candidates must have a strong background in middle market production underwriting with any focus on excess/ umbrella underwriting with exposure to transportation classes a plus. Prior experience marketing and building relationships with brokers is a plus, as well as the ability to work autonomously.
