Global Retail Markets, U.S. Claims, Strategic Solutions Knowledge Management Team is hiring for a writer/editor candidate with primary skills suited for writing, editing and publishing technical content that will appear in Knowledge Center | Claims (KCC), the GRM Claims Knowledge Management platform our customer-facing employees use every day for learning and customer engagement. You will leverage the Liberty Mutual Claims Communications Style Guide and Standards to develop and edit content such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Aids, At-A-Glance Guides, knowledge articles and reference guides to support customer-facing employees during service and claim handling interactions.

In this role, you will be accountable to collaborate with business partners and insurance subject matter experts to review, create, edit and publish content in real time and specific service level agreement times based on content type. In this role, you will become a Knowledge Center Claims (KCC) technical subject matter expert, providing content authoring guidance and coaching to business partners. Also, in this role, you will be required to provide content requests and user feedback reporting; incoming, in-progress and completed requests as needed. Work effort will be dedicated to GRM U.S. Claims Personal and Business Lines knowledge management content.

Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting, revising and creating resource material (e.g. standard operating procedure docs, articles, web pages, etc.) for customer-facing employees based on Claims Communication Style Guide and Standards

  • Experience writing for digital channels and internal audiences

  • Subject matter expert of Knowledge Center Claims (KCC)

  • Produce reports on content requests and user feedback

  • Project/program management experience

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and partners

  • Provide effective visual and verbal project updates to stakeholders as necessary


Qualifications:


  • Copywriter, English or business bachelors degree

  • Graphic designer capabilities

  • Minimum 3 years, typically 5 years or more of related work experience
  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable with ambiguity

  • Experience translating complex/technical subject matter into simple, concise and easy to consume content, following best practice guidelines

  • Strong communicator and strong interpersonal skills

  • Experience in insurance and/or financial services industries, a must

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Experience with Power BI a plus
