We are looking for a team-focused leader to join our Facilities department. The Manager will be responsible for the oversight of the proper operation, repair, and maintenance of building and equipment in support of the core business needs. Provides optimal customer relations and coordinates the physical workplace with the business and teammate needs of an organization. Leads a staff of employees in the general building and operations and maintenance of HVAC and ancillary equipment. This position will be at our corporate office in Sarasota, FL.
Education & Qualifications:- Six years of progressively responsible Facilities maintenance experience with at least 2 years in supervision and development of facility programs
- Preferred coursework in facilities management with CFM (Certified Facilities Manager) designation
- Preferred Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
- Preferred mechanical/electrical certification
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of OSHA, Life and Safety, ASHRAE, and NEC as it relates to areas of responsibility
- Advanced knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, sequences of operation, and refrigeration
- Solid working knowledge of the building power system, plumbing installations and repairs, modular furniture, electrical, carpentry, and de-mountable wall systems
- Solid working knowledge of space planning, design, and office layout in accordance with building codes to include coordination of department and office moves/reconfigurations
- Requires scheduled on-call for facility issues
- Minimal overnight travel may be required
- Position requires occasional lifting (with or without reasonable accommodations) of computers and related equipment that weighs approximately 40+ pounds. This lifting requires the use of supportive equipment
