Auto Partnerships Marketing Program Leader, Partnership Marketing

Liberty Mutual is the leading insurance carrier for third-party affinity partnerships, offering auto and home insurance to consumers/members of global auto brands, financial institutions, alumni organizations and professional associations. Partnership Marketing is a division of Acquisition Marketing, and is responsible for executing direct-to-consumer marketing to these groups to drive new business growth at Liberty Mutual.

The Marketing Program Leader is part of a team of six individual contributors, reporting to the Senior Director of Partnership Marketing, who reports to the VP of Acquisition Marketing. S/he is an integrated marketer who provides end-to-end strategic and tactical leadership of B2C direct marketing campaigns via channels like email and direct mail.

Responsibilities

  • Be the day-to-day marketing lead for specific auto brand partners.

  • Provide ongoing marketing leadership to affiliate partners, lead the marketing agenda for bi-weekly status calls, develop annual strategy plans and lead bi-annual stewardship meetings.

  • Work with internal stakeholders and external creative agencies to coordinate, design, manage and execute full end-to-end email and direct mail marketing campaigns to grow new business.

  • Lead the end-to-end management of creative deliverables from brief writing, concept review, execution, and post launch analysis.

  • Collaborate with internal analytics team to closely monitor ROE/ROI and success metrics/KPIs post-campaign.

  • Develop innovative creative testing and optimization plans; analyze creative test results to determine effectiveness and apply insights to transform future strategy and testing roadmap.

  • Partner with internal Consumer Insights team to conduct research/pre-market creative testing and infuse learnings in marketing campaigns.

  • Effectively communicate test results and recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior leadership.

  • Research and assess cutting-edge opportunities/trends that will drive innovation into our marketing programs. Research and vet external vendors that offer technology/creative solutions to achieve innovation.

  • Manage internal ops/tracking and invoicing processes as needed.

  • Execute cross-functional projects for the Partnership Marketing team that span multiple tactics and require coordination and buy-in from multiple stakeholders within and outside of marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree required

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated B2C marketing/communications experience

  • Past experience in managing email and direct mail campaigns with external creative agencies strongly preferred

  • Past experience in partnership/affinity marketing space a plus

  • Financial/Insurance industry experience a plus.
