Assurant has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Operations Analyst within our Workforce Management team.

This role is responsible for producing Command Center reports, providing root cause analysis, and presenting data from a variety of systems to align business initiatives and ensure client delivery. This is the perfect job if you enjoy ad hoc analysis and have a knack for simply presenting complex data to leaders to ensure large-scale business deliverables are met.

Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Provides project and analysis support in order to improve efficiency, enhance client service, and increase accuracy
• Presents project scope, status, and results to all levels of management
• Collects and analyzes data from a variety of systems, and develops processes to utilize that data on a go forward basis
• Conducts business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align business initiatives
• Provides systems, administrative, and operational support in assisting with the development and implementation of new or existing products and processes
• Analyzes existing forms and methods to promote effective operations through standardization, improvement, simplification, discontinuance, or other methods
• Reviews organization functions and structure to avoid overlapping or duplication
• Coordinates proposed policies, procedures, systems, forms and reports among departments
• Identifies project requirements and estimates by coordinating activities with team sponsors, directing team members, interviewing customers, analyzing operations, and determining project scope, developing project specifications, and documenting results
• Develops project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and cost

Basic Qualifications; Required – Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• 3 years of experience in business analysis, data mining, and statistical analysis
• 2 years of experience effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines
• 2 years with Excel, PowerPoint, Word

• Advanced degree
• 2 years presenting information to leaders
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Applies advanced problem solving skills
• Learns advanced and sophisticated analytical techniques
• Experience with workforce management programs, such as Aspect or Nice
