AVP Loss Control
AmTrust Financial Services, a fast growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need an AVP of Loss Control Practitioner for program business. This position is responsible for oversight of Loss Control for applicable Programs.
Responsibilities
- Audits programs to address profitability in conjunction with underwriting audits
- New business referrals and research
- Ongoing file reviews for various programs
- Responding to questions/problems surfaced by MGAs dealing with OSHA compliance, training, IH exposures, etc.
- Complete MGA quarterly report identifying needed account service frequency
- Review large loss notices
- Involved with due diligence process for new program evaluation
Duties:
- Responsible for creating, auditing and updating program templates as needed.
Vendors
- Responds to unique issues relating to vendors proving service
- Maintains monthly and YTD billing and vendor expense reports
State Compliance
- Process and track request for compliance service from AmTrust compliance
- Complete annual reports for AR, TX, KS, MO and PA
- Develop and compile information for audits in AR, and TX
Qualifications
- 10 plus years in Loss Control managing programs
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) - mandatory
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Travel required 25-50% nationally
- Open to remote office
