Our superior financial strength and consistent record of strong operating returns mean security for our customers - and opportunities for our employees. You will find Travelers to be full of energy and a workplace in which you truly can make a difference.

Job Summary
As a User Experience Specialist, you will ideate, explore, debate, and design the way transactions within many business lines of an insurance company should happen. We are looking for a User Experience Specialist that will be responsible for executing and overseeing digital design projects from conception to delivery, working within cross functional teams, in a transforming agile environment. It will be your charge to transform, evolve, and continuously innovate our interactions with our customers in a customer-centric, mobile first, responsive world.
Our team values hands-on collaboration, diving in feet first, moving fast, and approaching all obstacles with a smile and a can-do attitude.
You are:
  • An end-to-end designer: You are an out-of-the-box thinker while understanding the importance of adhering to standardized design patterns. You're strong at thinking big during the conceptual stage, but can zoom in to pixel-level detail during production, and drive creation quality elements.

  • A clear communicator: You communicate in a clear and focused manner to inspire, inform, and lead colleagues. You come with a solid rationale behind every design decision you make, you understand the importance of listening as part of communication, and you believe lively debate helps solve problems and build the best product.

  • Collaborative: You understand that the best work happens when individuals work as a team and you enjoy working alongside teams of designers, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.

  • Knowledgeable and up to date with digital design tools (e.g., Sketch, Azure, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite).
