Job Summary
Partners with various Travelers business functions in the continual enhancement of Supplier Risk Management program. Partners with members of the supplier risk management steering committee and sourcing professionals to provide guidance on timely identification of supplier risk, evaluation of risk assessment results, and guidance on further actions needed to mitigate risk to an acceptable level and/or advise business partners on making risk informed decisions. Defines and consults on measurement strategies, tools, scorecards and surveys across the organization. Ensures projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other business and related projects.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Partner in continuous enhancement of supplier risk management processes and technologies that are aligned with the evolving risk environment and Travelers business strategy. Evaluate supplier due diligence processes and ongoing monitoring to propose mitigation plans to reduce supplier risks. Analyze industry and peer best practices and technology trends to reduce supplier risk. Support the creation and management of communications across Travelers regarding the Supplier Risk Management program, including changes to technology and policies & standards. Assist in the development and delivery of presentations to senior management to garner support for the Supplier Risk Management program, including changes to process and technology. Develop and disseminate consistent, standardized materials utilized across the enterprise, and provide training. Collaborate with other risk management programs to ensure alignment in evaluation of supplier risk across programs and applications to minimize redundancies, maximize efficiencies and enhance process flow. Support the continuous enhancement of the Supplier Risk Management Framework and processes across the enterprise. Assist in performing supplier risk management program governance to ensure appropriate execution of due diligence and ongoing monitoring based on applicable risk and ensure proper oversight and understanding of enterprise supplier risk and dependencies. Partner with Sourcing and contracting legal to update Procurement and Supplier Risk Management policies and standards. Participate in the development of a Supplier Risk Management roadmap for people, process, and technology. Foster a 'partnering' culture with supplier relationship owners, steering committee members, risk subject matter experts across the enterprise, sourcing professionals, contract and technology legal, and other relevant parties. Ensure assigned projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other business and related projects. Participate in the Enterprise Supplier Risk Management Steering Committee Meetings. Train and mentor associates at all levels inside and outside of the department where required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of supplier/risk management or related experience required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Masters or other advanced degree preferred. 6+ years of Finance, Audit, Procurement or Sales/Servicing related experience.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
Thorough knowledge of project management processes. Advanced communication skills, advanced computer literacy and ability to analyze and resolve complex issues required. Ability to successfully operate in a team and in a fast-paced environment required. Thorough knowledge of business law, legal contracts and various financial issues including cash flow and working capital preferred. Requires a demonstrated record of initiative, problem solving, and change management.
