Seeking part-time 20 hours per week with the possibility to grow into full-time Case Manager RN, with BSN, CCM preferred, to perform Field Case Management services for Workers' Compensation claims in the Lincoln, Nebraska area. Must be located in or near Lincoln, NE. Position is home-based with frequent local travel to attend medical appointments and meetings. Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team. This candidate must be well versed in MS Office programs, and display strong organization and communication skills. CorVel provides a dynamic environment and a comprehensive benefits package. Lap top and iPhone and other equipment to set up home office provided. Mileage is reimbursed. Part-time 20 hours/week.

Essential Job Duties
  • Responsible for assessment and coordination of medical care for Workers' Compensation claimants.
  • Works closely with injured worker, Claims Adjusters, employers, and medical providers to ensure best possible medical care is received for the Worker Compensation injury to medically rehabilitate for return to work.
  • Position is Monday-Friday, standard business hours.

Education/Training Requirements
  • Must be a Registered Nurse(RN), current Nebraska license in good standing, BSN, CCM preferred.
  • Prior Workers Compensation experience preferred, but will consider training the right candidate.
  • Clinical experience of 3+ years in ortho, neuro and/or trauma preferred but not required.
  • Candidate must have strong computer and electronic device skills. Strong communication skills a must.
