How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:
This role will be responsible for shaping the customer experience by conducting internal discovery, competitive analysis and user research to help influence business decisions and champion the needs of our customers and advisors. In addition to supporting our in-house User Experience team, responsibilities will include project management by working with internal team members across the organization to ensure that everyone has a clear picture of a projects goals and understands their role in meeting those goals.
Principal Responsibilities
- Co-create and document an efficient, scalable user experience testing process and lead research initiatives to validate UI, layout, interaction and content design
- Manage user experience research initiatives including ownership of learning objectives and surfacing and dissemination of relevant insights/implications. Develop a highly collaborative relationship with a user experience testing vendor and partner in development of methodology and analysis
- Manage projects effortlessly, creating a positive experience for stakeholders as we achieve our goals together
- Develop collaborative relationships with the UX team and stakeholders throughout the enterprise
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- 2-5 years experience in research, marketing, user testing or project management role
- Ability to analyze data to answer questions and solve problems
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Proven project management skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelors Degree required in business administration, marketing, communications or related field
