Job Details

Assurant is hiring a Customer Engagement Senior Engineer to deliver excellent engagements via email and SMS to our customers. The team provides valuable experiences and cost savings solutions and ensures their reliability.

The engineer will serve as an email and SMS manager, analyzing requirements, designing and developing solutions, testing to ensure a high quality and deploying and maintaining these solutions. This role serves the Assurant enterprise needs of moderate to high complexity in the fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will establish best practices on the tools and processes and be an evangelist across the organization, providing training and troubleshooting help to other areas. You will advise on engagement while understanding the full customer journey.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing email campaigns and solutions, including integrating source systems
  • 5+ years of experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with SMS implementations
  • Knowledgeable of and compliant with applicable regulations
  • Experienced in establishing, socializing, and enforcing Email and SMS best practices
  • Experience with email and SMS testing platform(s) for example Litmus
  • Experienced in communication deliverability
  • Expert in effective email and SMS solution design
  • Experience in agile development
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
  • Ability to collaborate across teams in a large organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to management, team members, business and technology professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Great attitude

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or some related area
