The Processing support team provides system and processing support and expertise to internal/external customers and business partners. Utilizes a wide variety of systems, programs and media channels to maintain the Allstate Business Insurance knowledge support platform and to investigates and resolve customer inquiries on policy transactions.

Job Description

The Processing Support Associate role includes two main responsibilities for Allstate Business Insurance internal/external customers and business partners - providing support for ABIs online knowledge agent and for investigating and processing policy requests.

• Partners with content developers and system experts to ensure online knowledge agent system access and performance through the uploading, publishing and organization of online content.
• Investigates and processes all types of new business, endorsement and manual rating requests for commercial lines of business policies.
• Utilizes a wide variety of systems and media channels to investigate and resolve inquiries for both areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

ABIs Online Knowledge Agent:

• Uses content management system to ensure performance and content accuracy on editorial and production servers
  • Validates that audience cntent filters are correctly applied
  • Ensures acceptable system respnse time for all users
• Maintains user interface functionality, including bookmarking and type ahead navigation functions operate correctly.
• Publishes updated content weekly or more often, if required
  • Checks for filtering issues and verifies content for release
  • Publishes cntent to production server

Policy Processing:

Processes business related functions in accordance with internal and external business requirement guidelines

• Performs moderate to complex changes that requires interpretation and application of rules, rates, and/or underwriting guidelines.
• Investigates and resolves complex requests.
• Maintains, reports and manages daily work condition.
• Assists with creating and maintaining documentation for processing procedures and guidelines.

Reviews and investigates issues related to policies and/or systems

• Researches and reports system and/or policy issues.

Across Responsibilities:

Interacts with business partners and customers

• Communicates extensively in written and verbal form with internal and external business partners.
• Participates in and assists with meetings that include internal and external business partners.
• Presents complicated information with guidance and direction from team members and management.

Conducts and supports system and application testing for both online knowledge agent and processing systems.

• Tests systems and applications.

• Conducts verifications as needed.
• Reports findings

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• High level of PC and system proficiency required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving abilities and a focus on quality
• Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
