Job Description
The Business Transform Manager is responsible for accelerating large scale, enterprise wide transformation at Allstate. This position leads transformation consultants and will collaborate closely with officers and senior leaders across the enterprise to drive implementation and progress through all phases of the transformation lifecycle to achieve Allstates near and long-term goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the successful implementation of the transformation, contributing to the development of the integrated strategic transformation plan and ensuring prioritization is understood by enterprise leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Actively build strong relationships to facilitate coordination and alignment between the Transformation Acceleration Team and areas across the enterprise
- Partner with cross-functional working teams and senior leaders to track progress, risks, issues, budgets and metrics, providing thought leadership to drive solutions
- Proactively identify risks, design mitigation strategies and execute to avoid issues, escalating to senior leadership (as needed) n and progress through all phases of the transformation lifecycle to achieve Allstates near and long-term goals
- Provide transformation context to ensure partners understand the link between individual initiatives and the overall transformation objectives, influencing key decisions
- Convert thinking of others to gain acceptance for complex and difficult but necessary ideas to achieve goals and objectives
- Establish and monitor value driven measurements to ensure transformation initiatives realize the desired outcomes and benefits
- Manage transformation resource needs and evolve the portfolio as strategic decisions or changes arise, proactively identifying opportunities and/or redundancies across both transformation and key in-flight existing initiatives
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise wide transformation standards, frameworks, and processes
- Use personal influence and encourage the use of agile and product mindset practices and tools to accelerate change
Job Qualifications
- A bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 7 or more years of related experience
- Strong leadership skills, especially in leading and motivating multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams through change
- Advanced critical and holistic problem-solving skills including the looking at the bigger picture, analyzing, asking questions, and resolving complex problems quickly and easily
- Advanced project and program management skills; Able to deal with ambiguity and change in project scope without impacting the project in a negative way
- Advanced ability to influence others, structuring and presenting documents to effectively communicate with and inspire trust of cross-functional partners and mid-level management, driving alignment and decision making
- Ability to think discriminately see underlying concepts and patterns, forecast complex resource needs and recognize risks and the broader implications of decisions across the enterprise
- Ability to work as part of a team, communicate and foster collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization to maximize the achievement of business outcomes
- Polished, executive-level communication skills (written and oral)
- Advanced in Microsoft Office suite skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project)
- Ability to successfully lead large scale change efforts and complex projects
