Job Details
The Sourcing Manager identifies opportunities through Spend data analysis to consolidate vendors, reduce costs and improve quality/processes of AmTrust providers. Responsible for executing sourcing initiatives to align with these goals.
Responsibilities- Leads analysis of spend data/trends to assess and initiate opportunities
- Meets with stakeholders to fully understand requirements and identify operating issues with current supply base
- Develops RFX materials and acts as single point of contact for suppliers during the sourcing process
- Analyze bid responses and makes recommendation to Management
- Negotiates with third party suppliers, obtains maximum benefit for the organization
- Assists in marketing and promoting of strategic agreements to Management team to facilitate compliance with preferred vendors
- Develops and manages partnership with internal clients (including efficient cross-functional collaboration) to effectively support operational requirements
- Collaborates with business stakeholders on strategic sourcing process, providing process management expertise
- Ownership of category strategies, pipeline and savings and spend under mgmt. goals for assigned categories
Education and Work Experience:
- Requires a bachelors degree in business
- At least 5 years experience in Procurement/Sourcing field; Information Technology procurement experience a plus
- Experience with data analysis is a must

- Strong analytical skills; ability to understand data

- Self-Starter/motivated
- Experience with strategic sourcing
- Demonstrated project leadership and change management skills
- Strong Communication skills (relationship/stakeholder management)
- Will have interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade both internal clients and suppliers, work well in a team. The candidate should have demonstrable negotiation experience, and be able to act on their initiative, while still maintaining attention to detail.
