Job Summary
Under general supervision, completes programming tasks including estimating design, analysis, coding, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, application health monitoring/alerting, and implementation of programs within our front end application suite. The applications supported are primarily JavaScript and .Net based. This job does not lead others.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs system programming tasks of medium complexity.
  • Tasks require proficient programming and analytical skills.
  • Responsibilities include estimating design, performing analysis, coding, configuration, testing, debugging, incident investigation documentation and application health monitoring/alerting implementation of programs.
  • Manages these tasks simultaneously.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through professional communication, follow-up, and responsiveness to issues.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.
  • Continues to develop business knowledge while learning how work assignments address business issues.
  • May begin to provide guidance and mentorship to lower level technical employees.
  • Applies knowledge of current industry trends and techniques to formulate solutions within the context of assigned projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of programming/development experience required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 3 years of programming/development experience preferred.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Strong Client-side JavaScript
  • Strong UI development skills, including HTML, CSS & Less
  • Knowledge of .NET
  • Knowledge of Angular, React, and/or Vue
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical, analysis, debugging and problem-resolution skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly-collaborative team environment
  • Experience with Test Driven Development
  • Experience with Agile or SAFe
  • Understanding of Web Services including SOAP and WSDL
  • Understanding of multithreaded programming
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server / Oracle)
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new applications and technologies


Environmental/Work Schedules/Other
Requires weekend work hours. Requires overnight work hours. Requires holiday work hours (Federal and religious). Requires extended periods (1 or more weeks) of travel as needed. Requires travel up to 5% of time.

Physical Requirements
Operates standard office equipment. Requires extended periods of computer use. Requires extended periods of sitting.
