The Automobile Club of Southern California founded in 1900, is the nation's largest AAA-affiliated motor club, serving millions of members in twenty-one states.  Best known for emergency roadside assistance, the Auto Club also provides a wide range of products and services, including: insurance, financial, travel, automotive, and member discounts. 

Description:

Develops a range of multi-channel creative assets for corporate, marketing campaigns across multiple touch points including print advertising, direct mail, display ads, social media, web video ads and branch office collateral and merchandising.

Responsibilities include:

Concept, design and production of the following: print advertising include publication ads, FSIs and direct mail pieces with number versions. Landing pages that drive conversions. Display and social ads. Web video ads. Branch merchandising including animated digital content, posters, and collateral. Brand advocacy campaign elements.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of design experience.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Understand and demonstrates the fundamentals of graphic design as it applies to brand, layout, and digital graphic production.

  • Knowledge of current innovations and best practices in design.

  • Has full command of design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc)

  • Has strong skills in animated HTML5, digital video development and video banner ads, and experience developing templates for dynamic/responsive banner ads.

  • Has an exceptional design aesthetic, graphic design & typography skills. Requires strong organization and project management skills.

  • Experience working in a creative and fast-paced environment and can manage a multitude of projects varying complexity in a quick turn environment while delivering on time.

  • Must have a proactive mindset to anticipate what's ahead.

  • Ability to manage constructive feedback and take direction while fostering an iterative design.

  • Successful completion of Auto Club pre-employment assessments, background and drug screenings.
