Business Development Manager
General Placement Service is recruiting exclusively for a Business Development Manager for an MGU client that operates in multiple niche markets around the country. This position will be managing the growth and retention of a national book of business with a focus on atypical auto accounts. This program focuses on writing what is considered over-sized load transportation accounts. They can range in size from small, single unit accounts to large 25-50 unit equipment movers.
To be qualified candidates must have a minimum of 8 years commercial wholesale brokering or carrier business development experience in the middle market to large account space. They prefer someone with transportation experience, however, it is not required. A bachelors degree and designations are also preferred.
My client will pay a generous base salary plus incentives.
