Location: Chicago, IL

Length of Assignment: Direct Hire

Compensation: $95,000 to $105,000 Annually, Depending on Experience

Job Description:

Our client, a National Insurance Carrier, is currently looking for a Coverage Attorney for their claims department. This position will be located in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate is required to have experience determining & applying coverage and have earned a Juris Doctor.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 10+ years of Insurance Defense experience
• 2 to 5+ years experience with Commercial claims (including General Liability, Sexual Misconduct, Professional Liability, E&O, D&O)
• Must have experience handling Excess and Surplus Lines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Juris Doctor (JD)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry Certification(s) or License(s)
• Prior Reinsurance experience
