Job Summary

Develops, implements and supports social media enablement for the Field Operations channel. Responsibilities will include: integrated plans and programs to drive adoption and engagement; internal and external vendor management to drive page creation and content development; measurement and reporting to showcase program health and; research, trend and competitive intelligence to drive ideation and innovation. All efforts ultimately driving toward goals associated with new business and acquiring new customers within the Field Operations channel.

  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement communication programs and initiatives associated with social media program Social Sells.

  • Plans, organizes and coordinates the delivery of assigned marketing programs and their communications to ensure adoption and engagement in the social media program. Could include: agent training, new platform pilots & launch, user focus groups and seminars, etc.

  • Leads content strategy and development in partnership with internal creative group. Maintains brand standards and compliance. Leverages cross-brand / cross-functional best practices to drive best-in-class creative.

  • Works with platform implementation vendor to ensure timely and compliant page creation and governance as well as weekly content publishing and promotion.

  • Partners with internal resources and vendor to establish and evaluate metrics and performance benchmarks. Synthesizes results and shares learnings across the organization partners, colleagues, leadership, etc.

  • Helps to identify best and new practices to drive the programs efficiency, effectiveness, and quality. Maintains high level of innovation within program. (e.g. test and learn, pilot efforts, new platforms and opportunities)

  • Helps to develop new initiatives and opportunities based on an understanding of the needs of the business.

  • Acts as internal consultant and subject matter expert to other marketing, partnership and distribution departments regarding best practices within social media.

  • Serves as point of contact for the program with all stakeholders internal and external. Efforts may include: recommendations on business cases; writing POVs; answering email inbox; presentations at leadership meetings and agent council sessions; and compliance review sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications preferred) or equivalent experience required.

  • MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of relevant and progressive experience within a marketing-driven organization or advertising agency environment specifically within social media marketing.

  • Experience with all aspects of social media: from adoption & engagement to content strategy and innovation across all platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter.)

  • Strong analytical, collaboration, organization, and presentation skills.

  • Strength in project management and creative problem solving.

  • Extremely well organized and detail oriented.

  • Solid negotiation and time management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple priorities required. Strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships and gain trust across a variety of partners, colleagues and vendors.
