Assurant is hiring for a QA Senior Specialist!


The QA Senior Specialist will report to the Process Quality Manager within the Service Quality Management Organization. The position is responsible for conducting internal reviews to help ensure that Assurant and its clients boarded onto the Single Source Processing application have appropriate processes and methods to effectively comply with internal process quality program covering client(s) and vendor relations/multiple functional units and ensure compliance with servicing agreements derived from client and vendor contractual guidelines and standards. Reviews are accomplished through reviews of completed and reviews of system generated reports. Review results are summarized and provided to the Business and to Clients on a routine basis to demonstrate compliance with service standards.

Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for researching and conducting process reviews based upon client, regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Includes analysis of records, reports, internal/client systems, vendor, regulations and operating procedures and practices.
  • This include the reviewing, tracking and monitoring of the accuracy of work processed by the Single Source Processing platform and Lending Solutions Operations Centers domestically and offshore vendors. (80%)
  • Assist with performance of research related to process improvement activities to ensure realized benefits, including the documentation of departmental processes and procedures using standardized tools such as process maps, time studies, and root cause analysis, etc.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to business partners for enhancements to processes and procedures based on review observations and best practices. (10%)
  • May conduct follow-up review research and/or targeted reviews following completion of Corrective Action and may make recommendations to ensure realized improvements are in place and effective.
  • Provide subject matter expertise when launching a new project or service
  • Assist in the development of new SQM initiatives (10%)
  • No direct reports but may be responsible for reviewing and validating the work performed by other team members.
  • Other job responsibilities that may be required due to business needs.

Candidate will need to reside near our offices in Atlanta, GA, Duluth, GA, Florence, SC, Orange, CA, or Springfield, OH.

Basic Qualifications:

- 3 years of insurance, mortgage, or financial services

- 3 years of utilizing data analysis and improvement tools

- 2 years of auditing experience within auditing application or supporting applications

- Able to perform root cause analysis on findings to ensure the appropriate cause of action is documented within the review process.

- Demonstrated problem resolution skills
