Job Details
We are seeking qualified candidates to manage and oversee FCCIs Corporate Claims Major Case Unit. The selected individual will ensure that FCCI Insurance Groups most complex claims are handled expeditiously, efficiently, and in accordance with State laws and company policies and procedures. If you enjoy managing a team of talented claim professionals, and possess expert knowledge of insurance contracts, claim & insurance policy coverage, etc., to handle or provide consultative guidance for multifaceted commercial claims this may be the opportunity youve been seeking. Preferred location in Sarasota, Florida (Corporate Headquarters.)
ExperienceRequired* Eight years of recent, relevant, progressively responsible complex claims adjusting experience, emphasis handling Construction Defect claims
* Three years in a supervisory role with ability to effectively lead Major Case Unit
* Able to prioritize and manage work & team to meet key corporate claim related and organizational objectives
* Possess and maintain all required state adjusting licenses required
* Expert knowledge of insurance contracts, claim laws, coverage, rules, and systems, resulting in excellent knowledge of and ability to interpret and explain insurance policy coverage
* Advanced knowledge of jurisdictional issues
* Excellent ability to recognize potentially serious claims with significant exposure and develop action plan to minimize costs
* Advanced knowledge of complex claim file management techniques and processes
* Ability to create, present and interpret claim reports and statistics
* Proven ability identify potential volume or workflow issues and/or areas where efficiency can be improved and implements changes. Advise user departments of policy or procedural changes.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Preferred* Advanced technical expertise in the areas of Construction Defect and Defense, Commercial Umbrella, GL and WC Coverage B and Contractors E&O preferred
