Position Summary/Objective
This position supports and services internal and external Benefit Services customers using Workday and Cobrapoint technology. Service teams: Benefit Administration/Call Center, Reconciliation, COBRA/Direct Bill.
Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide professional and timely service to internal and external customers
- Effective communication skills via telephone, email and in-person
- Participate in new business implementation process and special projects as assigned
- Support audit team with requested documentation
- Resolve Benefit Services issues and escalations from internal and external customers
- Support all organization and departmental initiatives and SLAs
- Participate in ongoing training relative to the functional area
- Form strong partnerships within the department and organization
- Identify and document areas of improvement or innovation through process change or automation
- Meets or exceeds all performance standards
- Participate in Open Enrollment planning and implementation, as needed
- Assumes other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications and Experience
- HS Diploma required, bachelors degree preferred
- 2 years of related experience and/or training
- Must have knowledge of employee benefits, COBRA and other federal/regulatory requirements
- Must be able to cope in fast-paced, demanding environment and manage sensitive, confidential issues.
- Analytical skills; strong research and follow up skills
- Customer service oriented is a must
- Professional communication skills
- Proficient PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, HRIS, etc)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
