The FCCI Agribusiness Risk Control team has the opportunity to make a difference. We are seeking a passionate and energetic professional that is driven to succeed, provide solutions, and perform meaningful work. As an Agribusiness Risk Control Consultant, you will engage with policyholders and agent partners, conduct workplace risk assessments, and assist customers in establishing and maintaining effective safety and risk control programs. The selected candidate will service customers in the Gulf Coast region. As such, the ideal candidate must reside within the Central Mississippi (Jackson, MS) or Northern MS. area, have a valid driver's license and safe driving record. Occasional overnight travel will be required.
Education and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Safety, Risk Management or Insurance (Note: Relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education)
- Three years of multi-line, hands-on loss control experience with a minimum of three that is directly related to the evaluation of farm owners or commercial Agribusiness exposures
- Ability to provide effective training to policyholders as well as other Risk Control consultants
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record required
- Ability to travel overnight
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Industry designations such as ARM, ALCM, AFIS, or CSP are desired
