Job Details

This position is responsible for managing existing insurance national account customers and selling into and implementing new customers. The position is involved in developing and implementing ongoing strategies to maintain and grow existing accounts, new account sales, collecting customer feedback, and participating in relationship activities with various supply chain strategic partners. This position works closely with executive management and departmental leaders to grow the business and keep our customers happy.

Responsibilities

  • Calls on existing and prospective Carrier clients and their management
  • Conducts in person, phone, and webinar sales presentations
  • Conduct / facilitate routine client operational calls
  • Prepares and delivers monthly Client Management Reports
  • Analyzes client business opportunities and growth strategies
  • Works with other departmental leaders to develop various sales campaigns
  • Attends targeted industry events
  • Develops and maintains various presentations, marketing materials, and other collateral materials
  • Uses designated systems to track and manage sales pipelines
  • Manages various client implementation projects for new client programs and/or existing client projects, including, but not limited to program design, implementation scheduling, client training and communications.
  • Assists with the design and the application of client training activities
  • Works with technical teams and subject matter experts to develop various client training videos to automate some training and communication activities, including orientations, quick reference and specialty message videos.
  • Periodically works in different departments to understand current processes and become knowledgeable of operations
  • Ability to work long hours and some travel as needed to support sales and or catastrophe or other high volume periods 
     

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in related field
  • 6 years of insurance services and/or property claims related sales experience
  • Project management experience
  • Insurance restoration industry knowledge
  • Property Insurance Carrier claims processes and financial operations knowledge
  • Familiarity with Industry systems such as Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Symbility, aerial imagry / roof diagraming platforms, drying management systems, video and other tools.
  • Ability to conduct sales presentations via webinar or in person with small to medium sized groups of attendees.
  • Ability to sell into all levels of an organization from front line Adjusters to C-Level Executives
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Relationship development skills
  • Ability to work across departments developing strong working relationships with peers
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Leadership, organizational, and negotiating skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) 
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of selling insurance services to property insurance companies
  • Professional selling skills course certifications
  • Six Sigma or other process improvement designations
  • Xactimate level 1, 2, or 3 certifications
