Job Purpose:

The Associate Account Manager works with the members of the team by processing renewals, audits, certificates of insurance, evidences of property and data entry.  Provides technical support to maintain accurate policy information in the agency management system and performs general clerical duties. 

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Maintains control on flood renewals, including processing, new quotes, flood zones and mapping.
  • Processes policies, endorsements and audits, including checking for accuracy, invoicing and delivery to clients.
  • Maintains and updates electronic files in an orderly manner and utilizes suspense system in AMS exclusively.
  • Allocations for insurance costs for various entities or locations for clients.
  • Processes cancellation notices and follows up with the client as directed by the team.
  • Issues certificates of insurance and evidences on property including reviewing documents provided for compliance.
  • Policy checking and working with Exdion on policy checks.
  • Assists team on new and renewal submissions with applications, Excel spreadsheets and other documents.
  • Orders loss runs and creates the premium and loss summary for renewal.
  • Issues Auto ID cards.
  • Creates renewal summaries for team.
  • Utilizes the suspense system in the agency management system exclusively.
  • Processes incoming mail/email requests.
  • Reviews payments when requested and verifies acceptability.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree or Property/Casualty insurance experience.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workflows to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
