We are looking to add an Electronic Data Interchange Administrator to our team. As an Electronic Data Interchange Administrator you will support the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) program, along with other varied analytical and project-based support functions within the Workers Compensation Claims Department.
About Your Job:
- Monitor inbound and outbound flow of EDI traffic.
- Analyze and validate data at the time of submission, correct errors and troubleshoot issues
- Continuously analyze EDI process with improvement recommendations made to WCC management
- Maintain reports to track EDI performance
- Support Medicare Secondary Payor Act processes and compliance
- Provide EDI Training
- Create training material and curriculum
- Deliver training to various WCC team members and management
- Serve as liaison between WCC and technology teams
- Participate in initial testing for new EDI transactions and documents
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong understanding of insurance claims principles
- Excellent phone and customer service skills
- Strong computer typing skills and data entry experience
- Attention to detail, ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
