GAINSCO Auto Insurance markets non-standard private passenger automobile products through retail agencies, in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia. GAINSCO Auto Insurance has fully integrated insurance capabilities, including marketing, underwriting, customer service and claims handling. Our operations are bilingual (English/Spanish).
Job Purpose: To provide customer assistance through multiple channels of communication including but not limited to; inbound/ outbound calls, text messaging and email. Offer knowledgeable information based on state specific guidelines, procedures and insurance coverages.

Quality customer service by assisting customers, establishing
New customer relationships and strengthening existing customer relationships. Listening to customer, addressing concerns and educating customers on product offerings and coverages.

Processing transactions/ inventory by retrieving incoming emails, text messages, faxes, incoming and outgoing calls. Makes 75-100+ customer contacts per day. Handles customer inquiries, policy change requests, complies to business processes and requirements with accuracy.

Meet service levels and production goals must be goal oriented, motivated and self-driven. Meet and exceed goals consistently by producing consistent proven results.

Requirements
Education: High School Diploma. Active Personal Lines license required.
Experience: Prior experience in a customer service, policy administration and/or insurance capacity is required.
Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills; excellent written communication skills, ability to listen; ability to mentor; leadership skills; time management skills; organizational skills, patience, basic knowledge of computer software (i.e. MS Word, MS Outlook, etc.) is required.
Other: May be required to attend professional Insurance Underwriting Certification/Education Program and/or sit for the Property & Casualty License if required, based on business needs.
Office Equipment and Software: Computer, Telephone, Copier, Printer, Scanner, Fax Machine, Calculator, MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook), AS400, Claims Manager, Image Right, Phone Monitoring Software.
Decision Making: Servicing Policies including underwriting exceptions/ decision-making based on experience and skill level. The ability to be creative and have the capacity to make business decisions that will be in the best interest of the company as well as the customer.
Interpersonal Communication: Good interpersonal skills to create a cordial relationship with team members as well as our insureds and agents.
Confidential and Sensitive Information: Minimal access to confidential information pertaining to customer service representatives. (i.e, attendance and performance issues). Policyholders personal information
