Payroll Administrator Temp

Assists with the processing of Bi-weekly payroll for 5000+ Hourly and Salaried employees using Workday payroll.

• Review and auditing of set up for: New Hires, terminations, employee transfers, commissions, bonuses, garnishments, benefit deductions, 401(k) deductions, leaves of absence and all other relevant changes that occur during payroll processing.
• Assists with Time & Attendance administration duties through Workday Time tracker.
• Assists in administration of employee accrual balances for paid-time off.
• Assists in administration of payroll in 50+ states across the country.
• Assists with Garnishment Processing using ADP Garnishment Services.
• Responsible for payroll processing reports and auditing procedures.
• Responsible for completing written and verbal employment verifications.
• Assists in set up new state and local tax jurisdictions.
• Distribute departmental mail, scanning, organization of folders and drives as well as administratively handling payroll documents and paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in multi-state payroll processing
• Familiarity with Federal and State taxes
• Working knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday and ADP experience a plus)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Solid computer skills - Excel a must
• Strong communication skills
