Insurance carrier located in Rocklin, CA is in need of auto claims adjuster on a temporary basis.

Purpose: To investigate, evaluate and settle auto claims, applying technical knowledge and human relations skills to effect fair and prompt disposal of claims and to contribute to a reduced loss ratio

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Investigate and process a variety of Auto Property Damage Claims
• Handle auto or liability claims involving 1st and or third person liability
• Examine photographs and statements;
• Take recorded statements as needed

Background

• Minimum 2 years of claims adjusting experience in the auto insurance industry.
• Full understanding of auto claims investigations and claims processing, including knowledge of auto damage, settlement negotiations. and insurance case law.
• Experience interpreting policy language and state traffic statutes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
