The Bond & Specialty Insurance Information Technology organization is seeking a talented professional to join the organization as an Information Systems Manager to assist with our Master Data transformation.  
This position will work closely with business and technical experts to oversee integration and delivery of Master Data solutions.  This person will collaborate with a number of teams on new corporate Master Data solutions and will ensure these solutions deliver business competitive advantages and are data governance compliant. Responsibilities span from defining strategic implementation of solutions, to working with teams, to addressing day-to-day issues. The end state is the continuous improvement of Master Data leading to better, decision-ready, data sources. 
 
This job is a Manager and has responsiblity for setting work objectives and goals for employee(s) and managing their performance.

 

• Partner with scrum masters to assure that code development, quality assurance, and integration plans are complete and fully executed. 
• Collaborate with multiple departments on coordination of complex system capability implementations that drive successful solutions.
• In partnership with data governance leaders enforce that data governance standards and procedures are appropriately applied to ensure data integrity across multiple platforms
• Ensures that the MDM system documentation is compliant with Travelers strategic direction
• Analyze systems for errors, troubleshoot integration issues, and eliminate duplicative data entries
• Implement standard operating procedures related to data requests and additions to systems
• Ensure that only approved and valid changes are allowed into a production environment
• Ensure that appropriate testing support is applied to new system enhancements and project implementation

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 6 years of technology or business related experience preferred. 1 year of experience managing others preferred.

High School diploma or equivalent required. 3 years of technology or business related experience required.
