Job Introduction:

The Hosting Services organization is looking to hire Principal Information Security Analyst SiteMinder / Identity Management candidate. This associate will perform software installations and upgrades, systems administration, operational support, and problem resolution for large systems.

About the job

• Provides technical expertise and support to client, IT management and other infrastructure staff in risk assessments, implementation and operational aspects of appropriate information security procedures and products.
• Provides ongoing Level 3 support for Siteminder, LDAP, and other Directory Service products. This includes upgrades, patches, tuning, monitoring, problem resolution and identification of root cause, and troubleshooting escalated Directory Service configuration problems.
• Performs ongoing log/trend analysis of services and evaluation of new releases and new release functionality.
• Has active involvement in related audits and remediation activities.
• Supports system engineering groups as required for ongoing analysis and integration efforts.
• Acts as consultant to customers looking for Directory Service solutions.
• Provides on-call support during assigned rotation every 6-8 weeks (to include nights and weekends on occasion).
• Multitask and switch gears to meet changing priorities and tasks to accomplish goals/objectives.
• Work in a distributed environment where teams are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support applications using IAM capabilities.
• Responsible to install, integrate and maintain Identity & Access Management products such as CA SiteMinder.
• Communicate the IAM aspects of both the production support and maintenance at the technical and functional level to maintain or resolve a technical situation.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of solid work experience in Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in supporting a mission critical 24x7 production environment in an operations role and experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing systems to address real-time production issues.
• Experience in UNIX administration and shell scripting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills working with developers and applications teams for multiple lines of business.
• Demonstrated ability to define and document operational procedures .
• Ability to lead a team as well as work independently as a team member.

Highly competitive applicants will have the following preferred skills:

• Administration of multi-datacenter HA SiteMinder environment.
• Administration of multi-datacenter HA SunOne LDAP environment
• Working knowledge of SPLUNK.
• Understanding of LDAP / SiteMinder / SAML network traffic patterns.
• Understanding of service level agreements and prioritization of incidents/enhancements.
• Knowledge of Security Identity Manager and Access Manager prerequisite software including: IBM WebSphere, JBoss Application Server, Active Directory, databases, etc.
• Extensive knowledge and skills in maintaining an access management/SSO system in a large, complex organization.
