Sales Director - Foreign National Channel

In this role you will work with the VP of Foreign National Sales to help devise and develop the long-term vision and strategies for the growth and development of this new distribution channel on a National and regional basis.

This position will work hand in hand with the FN channel head and will also work with other sales leaders throughout the organization. You will also work closely with the National and Regional Brokerage distribution partners (NMO, General Agent and Bank, Broker/Dealer and Wire houses), as well as the regional wholesalers.

You be responsible for improving and growing Foreign National sales. You will communicate directly with the Senior leadership for reporting of sales, make recommendations on process improvement, recommend specific focus areas and other strategic initiatives to foster continued growth.

You will need to be an experienced recruiter of sales talent and be experienced working with brokerage agencies and other similar national level independent marketing organizations.

Qualified candidates will have direct personal experience developing and executing marketing strategies designed to break into new markets and distribution channels (brokers, strategic partnerships, independents, agencies, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify new market opportunities, implement marketing plans and increase sales within the different distribution channels for Foreign National business.
  • Ensure the FN program contributes to the overall sales strategy, develop sales tools needed to outpace the competition!
  • Manage your team budget; communicate with distributor partners; provide reporting and feedback to the leaders of the marketing organization.
  • Develop strategic marketing partnerships, oversee special events, trade shows, etc.
  • Be able to understand the unique characteristics of marketing to multi-cultural and diversity groups with different perspectives.
  • Ability to improve process and provide continuous improvement opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years experience in Life Insurance Sales and/or Marketing
  • Foreign National or Multicultural marketing experience preferred.
  • Ability Travel as needed.
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business strongly preferred
  • Wholesaler experience is a plus
  • Multilingual is a plus
