Are you passionate for analytics and data? Are you curious about how the changes we implement impact our results? The Business Lines Delivery Analytics team is hiring an Analyst or Sr Analyst to help us succeed in measuring the system changes implemented for Business Lines and providing early feedback to various internal partners. BL Delivery Analytics team members collaborate across GRM Product including Economics, Solutions, Delivery, and IT to deliver high-quality creative analysis, exploring results for our most recently launched initiatives.

In this role you will:

  • Work with project teams to understand soon-to-be-implemented product improvements
  • Design and deliver analytics to evaluate and research early results
  • Communicate outcomes to partners

Sample responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging primary data and financial analysis to optimize assessment of system changes
  • Mining large data sets using moderately sophisticated analytical techniques to generate insights and inform business decisions
  • Participating in and facilitating collaboration with key stakeholders across GRM to understand business needs, guide analytical assessment, and continuously improve initiative monitoring processes
  • Creating analysis and developing metrics that reflect initiative-specific goals and objectives
  • Generating regular summaries of results for assigned initiatives
  • Updating analysis to improve, streamline, and eventually transition to long-term monitoring teams
  • Identifying and testing hypotheses to discover root causes of significant results
  • Developing and delivering presentations to communicate technical ideas and analytical findings to non-technical peers and stakeholders, including executive leadership

The actual internal level/grade for this role will depend on your overall experience and skill level

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in a quantitatively-oriented field (economics, math, statistics, operations research, actuarial sciences, etc.)
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in an analytical position
  • Ability to identify themes and trends from large amounts of data
  • Ability to synthesize analysis into stories and visuals for an executive audience
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and coding experience required
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and/or insurance products/pricing/processes required
