Job Summary:

As part of the GRS Home Office Financial Systems team, you will be responsible for supporting change management enhancements and BAU activity. This includes defining and prioritizing the global backlog of requests from our users for IT developer consumption. Youll operate as a liaison between the business and technology to deliver changes to the business that improve satisfaction and usability of the tools. You will also be a change advocate for tools and processes supporting our agile operating model.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Possess a fundamental understanding of our end to end customer experience integration and dependencies. Display curiosity in business application of toolset.

  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholder management. Participate in Agile teams various ceremonies such as Scrum, Planning, Backlog Grooming and Retro sessions.

  • Effectively communicate the impact system changes would have on financial statements. Communicate request size, priority and status across business and IT teams.

  • Groom and prioritize the backlog of requests with other POs on the team, accurately representing the needs of the business/user community.

  • Apply knowledge of the tool to support business and IT during sprint testing cycles and when features are being questions. Conduct UAT and determine if further enhancements are necessary to meet acceptance criteria.

  • Support the teams Agile practices ensuring Agile manifesto considerations are leveraged.

  • Be a power user / highly proficient user of our financial systems, always communicating various features to stakeholders and sharing best practices to support user training. Help to define/document/teach standards and best practices for system usage.

  • Participate in meetings with key stakeholders to stay in tuned with pain points and requirements that could help alleviate process challenges.

  • Provide system support for book close and planning deliverable periods where business users are heavily reliant on system features and functionality.

  • Support various key initiatives knowing they will eventually become part of change management umbrella.

Tools this team supports:

SAP S4 Hana, SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), SAP Analysis for Office, SAP Fiori, Microsoft BI Analysis Services Cube, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI)

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and IT project management as typically acquired through a Bachelors` degree in relevant field (business, computer science, etc.) and a minimum of 3 years` experience in business, engineering, technology and/or consulting. Master`s degree preferred.

  • Able to depict complex ideas, issues and designs to varied audiences; educate SBU/department(s) on business vision and plan and the impact of change.

  • Ability to make difficult and quick decisions on a daily basis.

  • Able to influence a diverse group of stakeholders-strong leadership skills.

  • Strong problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress.
