Job Details

Seeking a full-time, in-house Liability Supervisor in the York, PA location for commercial claims arising out of our national product offerings that include municipalities, schools, emergency service organizations and hospice/home health/senior living facilities. Position will provide direct oversight of all aspects of coverage review and technical file quality for litigated and non-litigated files assigned to a team of adjusters within the General Liability, Management Liability and Professional Healthcare Liability unit. Candidate would work in conjunction with the Liability Manager and SVP to direct, plan and organize short-term and long-term efforts and manage the performance review process.
Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years handling complex and litigated claims with prior supervisory experience. Advanced knowledge of complex insurance coverages and the litigation process is necessary. Ability to work independently within assigned authority. Bachelors degree or equivalent transferrable industry experience. AIC or CPCU designation a plus. Must hold current state adjusting licenses or pass state licensing exams within an aggressive period of time. Some travel required.
