Position Summary:

The Data Solutions Product Manager will report to the CTO and will be responsible for the alignment of RSG business units for shared data collection, data solutions, and analytics. The product manager in this role will evaluate technology and solution providers, work with our carriers to obtain data, and oversee data aggregation across all RSG businesses. This manager will act as the liaison between RSG Corporate, the business units and the actuarial team to ensure there is effective cooperation and coordination that meets the business needs for data analytics across all of RSG.

The ideal candidate for this role will have technical and project management experience in the E&S space and will have managed complex projects across business units.

Essential Functions:

• Manages integration, design, and related activities in support of data collection, reporting and analytics platforms supporting all RSG businesses
• Acts as liaison between internal technology, business units, actuarial group, operations and 3rd party data providers
• Works with our carrier partners to automate and aggregate the delivery of their data
• Collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders and Technology resources to design data solutions to satisfy business strategies, requiring early involvement in solutions development processes
• Own the ongoing performance management and operations of shared data collection and analytics
• Evaluates 3rd party BI and data analytics tools and generates reports when appropriate
• Effective leadership including indirect resources, project leadership and management
• Maintain development prioritization lists and backlogs

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Team player. Work effectively and efficiently with cross functional teams
• Knowledge of E&S carriers, MGAs and applicable data
• Exposure to Relational Database such as SQLServer and NoSql databases such as MongoDB
• Familiarity with Data Analytics platforms such as Tableau
• Communicate issues and work status to Management team on a consistent basis
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proven organizational, multi-tasking and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
