Description:

GRM US IT is actively searching for an experienced, motivated Senior Software Developer for our Telephony Portfolio team.

The Telephony Portfolio supports GRM US Emerging Technology and our contact center capabilities. You will join a team of talented developers who are focused on the support and modernization of our contact center applications. Youll have the opportunity to work in a casual, Agile environment to collaborate closely with other developers, architects, and test engineers. You will leverage enterprise software development skills to build, maintain and support these applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in an Agile environment with other Software Engineers, Agile squad members and Product Owners to iteratively deliver solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Drive full cycle end to end development from design through implementation, including analysis of user stories for validity and feasibility.
  • Develop enhancements to our applications with .Net, C#, C/C++, Java and JEE.
  • Develop new cloud based applications with Java and Springboot.
  • Execute all levels of testing and support test automation with tools such as JUnit, JMeter and Selenium.
  • Participate in the development of Build and Deployment guides and scripts.
  • Provide on-call support as defined by squad for aligned application domain.
  • Partner with application Architect and Technologists to understand technical roadmap and champion portfolio modernization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience; technical degree preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in software design and development.
  • Proficiency with React, CSS and HTML

  • Proficiency with JSP, JavaScript and JQuery
  • Experience with Eclipse or RAD IDE
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies such as AWS, Docker and Spring Boot (desired).
  • Experience integrating and managing APIs exposing backend/RESTful services
  • Demonstrates active pursuit of optimizing CI/CD processes and leveraging DevOps tools such as BitBucket/Git, Gradle, Jenkins, etc.
  • An evident appreciation of current and emerging technology trends
  • Knowledge of layered systems architectures and layered solutions/designs; understanding of shared software concepts.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP), and ideally familiar with Design Thinking, Behavior and Test-Driven Development
  • Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills with track record of taking solution ownership.
