Job Details

We are seeking a talented, motivated individual to join our highly visible group that focuses on innovation within our core insurance products. This mission involves optimizing our current Personal Lines products, building new offerings, and exploring transformative solutions through product research. As a subset of this mission, our team manages the insurance product design and sales positioning of telematics products.

Specifically, this role will focus on an array of exciting telematics products. We are seeking someone with capability to build insurance product design for emerging usage based insurance programs, analytical insight to evaluate potential economics and monitoring results, and clear communication skills to interface with front-line users of our telematics products.

  • Can ask the right questions to make appropriate data-driven decisions

Job responsibilities

  • Draw upon core insurance knowledge and customer centric perspective to inform telematics product design decisions

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive product design and leverage best practices for consumer research and prototyping

  • Partner with cross-functionally to evaluate economics of potential telematics product designs and monitor results for existing programs

  • Communicate updates to cross-functional leadership

  • May conduct highly complex telematics quantitative analysis under minimal direction

  • The actual internal level/grade for this role will depend on the candidates overall experience and skill level (16-18).

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience within a financial services, customer and technology focused organization. 2+ years experience pricing personal auto products required.
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, organization, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including PowerPoint
  • Ability to utilize statistical software packages (e.g., SAS)
  • Bachelors or Masters degree (ideally with an analytical discipline like Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics or Data Science)
