Job Summary
Join the team that collaborates across Travelers to provide actionable insights to inform business decisions, drive winning strategies and enable the business to capitalize on change and trends. Enterprise Market Research (EMR) provides internal clients with objective, credible insights to help profitably grow the business, build the brand and positively position Travelers in the marketplace.
This position will report to the Director, Enterprise Market Research and will interact broadly with the entire EMR team as well as internal business unit clients.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research by finding and mining multiple market, economic, financial, and demographic sources and synthesizing and reconciling information
- Create meaningful analysis that is accurate, appropriate, and actionable for our internal clients
- Help develop recommendations, sometimes intended for senior management, based on internal and external research, while demonstrating insight, creativity, and neutrality
- Collaborate with multiple departments, including sales, product development, enterprise underwriting, actuarial, marketing, claim, etc.
- Balance multiple projects while working with manager to help prioritize deliverables
- Provide professional-level customer service to internal clients
- Produce clear, concise write-ups and/or presentations of findings
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, mathematics, marketing, or comparable analytical degree preferred but not required.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite; Excel & PowerPoint preferred, QlikView and Access experience is a plus
- Commitment to continuously develop skill set and knowledge base
