Commercial Lines Account Manager - Independent Insurance Agency - Base $50k-$60k, Fantastic Benefits

Our client, a leading large independent insurance agency north of Philadelphia in the Lansdale, PA area, has an immediate need for a Commercial Lines Account Manager for their growing commercial team.  The agency will consider also consider an entry level to junior level candidate looking to grow in the industry.  This is a strong and stable agency with low turnover, a good reputation for work-life balance, and a firm that will offer a true path for career development and advancement.

In this role, the Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for managing a book commercial lines accounts.  This is a very large commercial lines team.  The accounts you will work with will vary in industry type.  You will work with an assigned Producer to help assess the needs of the base of clients and will help to market new and renewal accounts.  The Account Manager will also build a strong working relationship with the company’s Carriers.  Specific duties include responding to all customer and carrier requests, processing new and renewal policy invoicing, reviewing policies and processing endorsements, submit new and renewals to carriers, following up on quotes, documenting data into the agency management system, and more.

Qualifications 

• Active Property & Casualty license
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial lines account management and customer service experience within an independent agency environment.
