Life Underwriting Consultant (Multiple) Job Openings REMOTE!

The Life Underwriting Consultant will evaluate and assesses (individual life) insurance applications for new and in-force business using established company guidelines and policies. You will be counted on to establish and maintain relationships with the field and provide outstanding internal and external customer service. Risk Selection, recommendation and decision's regarding applications with quality, timeliness and productively. Assist, advise and present underwriting information to field force. Training and development of field force on underwriting topics and product information.

Experience required:

• 4-5 years or more of (Individual Life) underwriting experience along with completion of 5 LOMA courses towards FLMI/FALU or CLU and ALU 1 completed ( OR ) 10 years of (Individual Life) underwriting experience
• Comfort with computer programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to process complex information and make sound decisions
• Great problem solver
• Tactful team player who can influence and work well with agents, co-workers, etc.
• Any project experience is a plus
• Experience working remote is a plus
